Immune deficiencies are some of the rarest and therefore, least researched diseases. The European Society for Immunodeficiencies (ESID) maintains a scientific database with medical data of patients with immune deficiencies. There is also the possibility in Switzerland for patients with an immune deficiency to partitipate in this ESID registry. The patient data are entered in an anonymised and coded form. Naturally, patient participation is voluntary and independent of further care and therapy. The aim of the registry is to compile accurate data on prevelance, treatment and the course of immune deficiencies. The results of the data evaluation flow into further research into immune deficiency diseases and ultimately into the care of those affected. All the recommended specialised centres for immune deficiencies participate in the ESID registry's data collection. They will be happy to provide you with further information.
